Bio
Brody Rush was named head esports coach at Dallas College North Lake in the spring of 2023. He coaches Call of Duty, Call of Duty War Zone, Apex Legends and Rainbow Six Seige titles.
In 2024-25, Rush coached the Blazers Call of Duty Warzone team of Anthony Garcia and Hunter Treleaven to the National Junior College Athletic Association eSports Tier 1 national championship in the fall, going 12-0 in the season. North Lake's Call of Duty 4v4 team of Aaron Walker, Zion Williamson, Jamie Woodruff, Garcia and Treleaven were the NJCAAe Tier 1 national runner-up in the fall. They went 10-2 on the season. In the spring, the Blazers Call of Duty Warzone duo of Treleaven and Williamson finished as the Tier 1 national runner-up. The Blazers Call of Duty Gunfight team of Walker and Garcia also finished as the Tier 1 national runner-up. North Lake's eSports teams posted an overall record of 55-7 in 2024-25.
In his first year with the Blazers in 2023-24, Rush coached titles that produced a 66-39 overall record, while guiding eight teams or individuals to the postseason. In the Fall of 2023, Zaid Gutierrez won the NJCAAe Tier 1 FIFA Championship, repeating as champion.
He served as Dallas College Mountain View's esports coach in 2022-23, overseeing the Valorant, Call of Duty and FIFA titles. In the Spring of 2023, Gutierrez won the FIFA Open Division championship. Rush's Mountain View teams combined for a 25-13 record.
Rush earned his cybersecurity certification from Tarrant County College.
