CJ Allen was named an assistant coach of Dallas College North Lake women's soccer team in the spring of 2022.

She assists with recruiting, player development and administrative duties.

In 2024, North Lake went 5-6-5 overall, 3-3-4 in the Dallas Athletic Conference, advancing to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South District quarterfinals. Melissa Morales was named the DAC co-Defensive Player of the Year.

In her first year with the program in 2023, the Blazers went 3-9-5 overall, 2-5-3 in the DAC. They advanced to the South District quarterfinals. Lia Santiago was named an NJCAA Division III First Team All-American and the DAC Most Valuable Player. 

Allen was a defender at North Lake in 2021.

Allen earned a bachelor's degree from Tarleton State University in May 2025.
