North Lake Volleyball Announces Schedule
NORTH LAKE VOLLEYBALL SCHEDULE
IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake volleyball team will open the season Aug. 21 at Arlington Baptist University.
North Lake will play 10 of their 30 matches at home this season. The Blazers will compete in two tournaments, and host the North Lake Tri-Match.
The Blazers play at Temple College Aug. 25 before hosting the Leopards three days later in the home opener. They head to the College of DuPage Invitational Sept. 4-6. The Blazers will play the likes of DuPage, Joliet Junior College, Caldwell Community & Technical Institute, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at Rock County and Owens Community College over the three days in Illinois. The following Tuesday, they play at Seminole State College.
North Lake returns home Sept. 11 for a match against Ranger College. On Sept. 19, the Blazers will meet DuPage again at the Blinn Invitational, where they will also have matches against Lee College, Dallas Christian College and Wharton County Junior College that weekend in Brenham, Texas.
The first Dallas Athletic Conference match is Sept. 22 at Dallas College Mountain View. North Lake's first DAC home match is Sept. 25 against two-time defending National Junior College Athletic Association Division III national champion Dallas College Eastfield.
The Blazers host Seminole State and Palo Alto College Sept. 27 in the North Lake Tri-Match. They return to conference action two days later at Dallas College Brookhaven. They finish the first round of league play Oct. 6 versus Dallas College Cedar Valley at home. North Lake hosts Mountain View Oct. 9 for the start of the second round of DAC matches. The Blazers host Dallas College Brookhaven Oct. 16 before heading to Northwest Mississippi Community College two days later for their final nonconference match. The final regular season home match is Oct. 20 against Dallas College Richland. North Lake wraps up the regular season at Cedar Valley Oct. 23.
The NJCAA Division III District Tournament is scheduled for Oct. 29-Nov. 1.
