Pennison Named DAC Offensive Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake's Hailey Pennison was named the Dallas College Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.

A sophomore outside hitter from Tomball, Texas, Pennison banged a career-high 21 kills, had a career-best 21 digs and hit .366 as No. 6 North Lake beat Arlington Baptist University 3-1 in the season opener. Pennison averaged 5.25 kills per set, and had three aces in the Blazers' win.

North Lake plays at Temple College 6 p.m. Monday before hosting the same team Thursday night in the home opener.
