North Lake Baseball Sweeps DAC Players of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake baseball's Jesse Orozco and Grayson Brown were named the Dallas Athletic Conference Players of the Week. Orozco was named the league's Hitter of the Week, while Brown was tabbed the Pitcher of the Week.

A freshman infielder from Fort Worth, Texas, Orozco went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a run batted in and a run scored as North Lake split a doubleheader with Dodge City Community College to open the season.

A sophomore left-handed pitcher from Sunnyvale, Texas, Brown tossed three scoreless innings, striking out three and allowing two hits and no walks in the Blazers' 4-3 victory in the season opener.

North Lake (1-1) is scheduled to play at Paris Junior College 12 p.m. Wednesday.
