Loan Named DAC Pitcher of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake's Dylan Loan was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

A sophomore right-hander from Hockley, Texas, Loan went 1-0 with five strikeouts in 2.2 innings of scoreless relief against National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Vernon College. He allowed one hit and no walks in the NJCAA Division III No. 4-ranked Blazers' 9-6 win.

Loan is 1-0 with one save and 14 strikeouts in 13.2 innings this season.

North Lake (16-13, 6-3 DAC) returns to league play at Dallas College Mountain View (9-17, 2-7) noon Wednesday.
