Carter Named DAC Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake's Romiel Carter has been named the Dallas Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

A 6-foot-4 freshman wing from Carrollton, Texas, Carter scored 18 points, had five rebounds, two blocks and a steal in North Lake's season-opening win at Redlands Community College. He hit 7 of 11 field goals as the Blazers beat Redlands 92-85.

North Lake will host Texas Wesleyan University Junior Varsity 6 p.m. Tuesday and Arlington Baptist University Junior Varsity 12 p.m. Friday on Community Day.
