Delano Wilson was named an assistant men's basketball coach at Dallas College North Lake in August 2025.

He assists with coaching, player development, recruiting and team duties.

In his first season with the Blazers, North Lake went 23-12 in 2025-26, using a brand new roster to capture a National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central District championship after finishing third in the league with an 11-4 DAC record. North Lake earned the district's automatic bid to the national tournament, going 1-2 with a one-point loss in the third place game. Romiel Carter was named an NJCAA Division III First Team All-American.
